You Six Pack Abs achievers out there rock! Keep it up! Don’t give up! The guy who was living on a life raft for 72 days after his ship sinked didn’t give up either. And that’s a true story I will expand on some other time.
I am few days behind here, but don’t let that slow you down my fellow Six Pack Abs achiever. This is just another mind bomb I want you to remember. And keep doing what you’ve been doing until now – following Year to Six Pack Abs steps. As long as you do, you’re on right track.
Year to six pack abs – week 44 – step 44 video:
Step 44 in Year to Six Pack Abs is to embrace the mess. As I mention in the video, many people think that workout has to be scheduled at certain time, it shouldn’t be interrupted, it has to last certain amount of time, you have to warm up before it and so on. And if you miss any of these steps, your workout simply won’t be effective. Well, this is not truth!
Human life is inherently messy, we get thrown out of our routines on regular bases. Unexpected things happen, our child gets sick, your boss is too demanding and so on. This mess is here to stay. And I want you to embrace it and use it to your advantage.
The 10 minutes quickly workout fit anywhere into your schedule matters as much as the 1 hour workout that was planned, you wormed up, you read you motivational book before, and you drunk 5 glasses of water prior to. But how many of those can you really have? If your life is like mine, not very many. Actually I almost never have such a workout perfectly planed.
My workout routine is totally messy. Yes, it’s on the paper and I know what to do for the day. But it doesn’t get done in 1 hour, listening music, and me having a plenty of time to warm up, chit chat with gym buddy and so on.
No! My workout is a mess! Actually my whole life is! But that doesn’t mean I don’t achieve my goals. Yes, I have a Six Pack Abs clearly visible on my stomach, in spite of me being able to squeeze 10 X 15 min workouts and sleep very little past two months. And those two months before were not any different. I revel in the mess. And I love it. And I get a lot done and I move closer to my goals every day! And I want you to do the same thing!
Don’t fight the mess
Mess in your day is here to stay. Either you’re a student, parent of three, or executive in a start up, if you manage to embrace the mess and roll with it, you’ll succeed! Unless of course you are one of the rare ones that has it’s life completely in control. If so, I don’t believe you 🙂
I still remember days when I was a competitive athlete in rowing. My days were scheduled, I had to spent 5 hours on the water, certain time in the gym, certain amount of hours I had to sleep, perfect amount of protein, carbohydrate and fat I had to eat. And I did all that. And yes, I was performing well.
But I lived life of a baby and that’s not a reality. Lots of pro athletes live such lives. Babies have everything scheduled, everything evolves around them. Oh my, little Johnny didn’t sleep 11 hours today, what are we going to do! Little Johnny didn’t have his milk, what are we going to do! Little Johnny didn’t go to his baby gym class and so on. Yes, my life as a competitive athlete was like that.
Now I live my Six Pack Abs life in a mess and I want you to embrace it too. And it doesn’t have to only apply to your Six Pack Abs life. Apply it to your whole life. Let me give you an example:
I woke up yesterday at 6:00 AM. Dressed and made myself a coffee. Suddenly my son walks right after me. He wants to play. But I have to make a breakfast. So I play with him, I start cooking the eggs at the same time and since it was a pull up day, I did one set of pull ups right away.
Now he wants to hang on the bar. Great we play again and than I jump on the bar again after 5 minutes and do another set. Breakfast is almost done, I do another set and dress my son. Then I get his milk ready, prepare plates, jump on a pull up bar, do another set of pull ups. Breakfast is ready!
Something like that. It’s a chaos, it’s a mess but a roll with it and get my workout and other things done! Do the same Six Pack Abs Achiever! Embrace the mess and succeed!
Stand in front of the mirror and scream!
I am embracing the mess in my life! I revel in the mess! No Mather how messy my life is, I get things done!
I am losing fat, getting stronger, healthier, better looking and my physical and mental performance and energy is rising every day.
My six pack abs is more and more visible on my stomach everyday!
I make things happen! And I am making my own Six Pack Abs happen!
