Step 34 in Year To Six Pack Abs will be – adding some abdominal exercises into your weekly strength training routine. And I give you here 3 specific abdominal exercises that are more than enough to do 2 times per week to eventually achieve Six Pack Abs in one year.
Now, you might be wandering my Six Pack Abs ambitious friend, why am I adding abdominal exercise only now to your yearly journey toward your own Six Pack Abs. And the reason for it is simple – doing abdominal exercises is by far less important in achieving Six Pack Abs than anything you’ve been doing so far.
Now wait! Isn’t doing abs and crunches exactly what I have to do to achieve leanness with Six Pack Abs clearly visible on my belley? Nope. And I will explain soon. It is still important to do some abdominal exercise to keep your core strong. And of course we want to work out and keep strong all the muscles in the body. But, as I mentioned before, doing abs will not help you much to uncover your Six Pack Abs.
Year to six pack abs – week 34 – step 34 :
I want you to add these 3 abdominal exercises as seen on the video to your weekly strength training routine:
2 circles of:
1. Heals touch crunches – 30 Repetitions
2. Legs up toe reach crunches – 30 Repetitions
3. Mountain climber – 20 Repetitions each side
And I want you to do this routine 2 times per week consistently. You can add it to your overall Six Pack Abs strength training routine with doing pull ups, squat jumps and push ups all together and do it on the same days.
Or you can take Squat jumps we added in our Year to Six Pack Abs step 17 and do it on separate days together with abs. Just make sure you don’t do the same exercises two days in the row. You should keep 2 or 3 days between you do the same muscle groups to make sure they get enough rest.
Yes doing abdominal exercise will add little steam in your engine that is taking you toward your own Six Pack Abs. Why I say little steam? Because far more important on your journey to six pack abs is – your diet and what you eat and drink and the big muscles you exercise intensively like pull ups, push ups, squat jumps which increase your overall metabolism substantially more than doing abdominal exercises.
All that said, we are still going to do some abs. Of course we will. It’s a muscle group that needs to be worked out on regular bases for optimal core strength and overall health. Just stop listening the popular mainstream advice, that doing abdominal exercising is the most important part in achieving Six Pack Abs. They are important, but they are not the most important. Enough said.

From now on I am doing my abdominal exercises 2 times per week consistently. I am understanding that doing abs is not the most important in achieving Six Pack Abs. And the steps I’ve been following until now are equally o more important to follow. And I am succeeding doing it.
I am losing fat, getting stronger, healthier, better looking and my physical and mental performance and energy is rising every day.
