Squat jumps are a great exercise that work the biggest muscles in the body – quadriceps femoris an gluteus maximus. And with that increase our overall body metabolism substantially. They are not as easy as they look to perform. They increase your heart rate fast. And they can make you very sore too. That’s why, we will start slowly in the beginning and progress over time.
When to do squat jumps?
You can incorporate them to your overall strength training routine we introduced in year to six pack abs step 9. Or you can do them on other days. I have my six pack abs strength training routine split into days I work out upper body in one day and lower body – legs different day.
For example if you do your strength training routine for upper body, and so far we introduced only mainly upper body exercises on Mondays and Thursdays, do squat jumps on Tuesdays and Fridays.
How many?
Start with 3X15 and slowly build it up from there to 5X15. And than start adding repetitions all the way up to 5X37. Give yourself plenty of time and stay consistent.
Fantastic! We are already doing squat jumps! That’s a huge step toward your own six pack abs in a year!

I am introducing squat jumps to my overall strength training weekly routine. And I will persist doing them regularly from now on. I love the challenge and intensity of doing squat jumps! My fat reserves are melting fast now. I am very proud of myself! And I am succeeding and loving every second of it!
I am losing fat, getting stronger, healthier, better looking and my physical and mental performance and energy is rising every day!
My six pack abs is more and more visible on my stomach everyday!
