Year to six pack abs – week 10 – step 10 video:
Protein is a building block for our body, from muscles to organs like heart, stomach, lungs, liver. All of them are build from protein.
The benefit of protein in six pack abs achievement: first, we need protein to survive. Second, consuming protein with every meal will make you more satisfied and you’ll feel hungry much later, reducing your overall calorie consumption. Third, it slows down the carbohydrate entry to the blood stream and reducing the rapid insulin secretion that causes inflammation and fertile condition for fat storing.
How much protein should you eat for best six pack abs effect? Not that much. Try to go for 0.7 grams of protein per pound of your body weight. And less 0.5 grams is ok too. It all depends on your activity levell. More active you are, the more protein you should consume. But my limit is 0.7 gram multiplied by you body weight. For me it is: 0.7 X 193 = 135 grams of protein spread through 3-5 meals in one day.
