My long term project as many of you already know is about how to achieve a six pack abs in a year. You might think: what a turn off! I don’t want to wait a year to get my six pack abs! I want it now! And I understand.
The fact is, people are failing. They are failing in trying to achieve their goals. And the reason for that is, that we want everything fast and than get way to hard on ourselves. And we give up. It’s not sustainable. You can’t change 360 degrees in one month. It’s impossible almost in anything that is valuable.
False six pack abs promises
We get bombarded by a lot of promise. There is a pressure created out there to promise you the shortest possible time to achieve your six pack abs and many other stuff we yearn: loose 25 pounds in a month, one year to 1 million, start million dollar company today, retire in 3 months, get your hair back fast bald men – my all time faworite! The fact is, this are a false promises. Otherwise we would all be rich, fit, healthy, very successful and there wouldn’t be bald men out there 🙂
I know huge amount of people who simply have a problem. It’s a big problem. And they suffer by it a lot. These are people from every background. Successful, and less successful, young and old. They tryed it all and they are not succeeding. They are desperately trying to loose weight. They are desperately trying for a very long time now. And no success. Why is that? Well, the reasons might be many.
But one of them is, that they tried stuff that doesn’t work. And it’s usually stuff that promises miracles in short period of time. Than, when they don’t see promised results, they get down on themselves and they quit. You set high expectations and get very ambitious in the beginning. Exitement sets in but evaporates after few weeks of trying very hard.
True six pack abs promises
I have a different strategy. It’s more sustainable. And it’s working. So what is the strategy? Simple. You introduce 1 single tiny new habit change every week for a year. One single habbit per week and you too can have six pack abs visible on your belly 53 weeks down the road. The key is to change very little in one week. Just one little change of habit or introduction of new one. That over time adds up and big change happens.
Seriously, don’t get discouraged! Time flies! Time is going to pass. Year is going to pass. And it will pass fast. And, my dear friend, you might as well have a six pack abs body at the end of that year. Or, you might stay the same and keep complaining that nothing works and that loosing that extra fat in one year is just too long of a time to wait. Please don’t! Start chipping from that fat storage today with your first six pack abs step for a week.
Your habbits are what makes you what you are. And habits are not easy to change and break. But there is a way to change them. The way is to make it sustainable and progress slowly. You wouldn’t want to start dead lifting 300 pounds right away. You would get hurt and discouraged. No, the way of sustainable progress is small steps forward. And maybe even 3 steps forward and 2 steps backward. That’s what’s manageable. And that’s what is sustainable. But over time, huge progress happens.
With this way you are going to progress. Even if it takes you a year. Who cares. The year is going to pass anyway. I repeat! And it certainly will! And you might as well find yourself one year down the road looking in the mirror and seeing your own six pack abs. How cool that would be!
Year to six pack abs
We humans tend to get very hard on ourselves and than get depressed about not following through. I want you to stop doing it to yourself. You deserve enjoying your days. Every single one of them. Keeping in mind that you have a sustainable system in place and that you are progressing slowly. But certainly. This is in your power. It really is! And you can have fun with it too! You can have it all!
There is going to be a simple manageable and actionable step each week for you to follow with one video in it. I promise, you’ll not get overwhelmed by intensity of this. You should feel relaxed and good about yourself, that you are making a tiny step forward. And that is my goal. I don’t want you to get very excited in the beginning and than crush and burn at the end. That’s not my style.
Any journey starts with a first tiny step. Than another one. And another. And sticking to these steps, putting one foot in front of the other consistently. That’s how major progress happens. One of my favorite success and performance writers: Geoff Colvin sad, that for any improvement choose 5 minutes everyday over 2 hours once per week. And I agree with this mantra. So please start your tiny action step today and achieve sustainable six pack abs body, fat lose and incredible health and energy with it.
