My very fit friend showed me the other day a product that is suppose to make you even leaner than you are. It promises a six pack to those already fit but struggling to uncover those flat clearly defined abs.
I have a lot of very fit friends that still don’t seem to be able to achieve their six PAC abs. They desperately want it, they make it their New Years resolution. It is their big goal for whatever reason. Showing it on the beach, looking special, attracting potential partners, boosting self confidence. You know, all those worthless reasons. Better health anybody? No, that’ almost never the reason.
And yes it is special to have a six pack abs. Not that many people will ever achieve it in their life’s.
This fit friend of mine showed me a shiny bottle full of pills, excited that this is the s..t that’s going to help him. He said, that with his intensive work out routine and couple of these pills together, his abs will show up. And maybe he is right. His workout routine is very hard and intensive.
I looked on the bottles ingredient list as I always do and it showed that between other vitamins and some minerals it contains about 170 grams of caffeine per pill. That’s the amount you can find in 3 cups of plain natural black coffee. It says that it is not recommended for children and few more warnings about heart.
Apparently, this product is very popular and many people buy it. So I gave him my 2 cent of advice. Why don’t you go to your local coffee shop and have a large coffee instead? It’s natural, it comes without all the chemicals that put that pill together, it’s cheaper, definitely better for you and it tastes good.
I don’t think my friend is going to listen to me. He is sold on shiny bottle that promises six pack abs. Maybe I should package caffeine in pills and put it in shiny golden bottle to get rich too. But I am not going to do that.
Weight loss pills are a scam. They are basically caffeine packaged pills with great marketing. Yes, you might get a six pack abs if you work hard and your diet is great. But it won’t be because of those pills. And maybe you won’t be able to fall asleep if you take it after your afternoon workout on top of all those wasted money you paid for it.
In the mean time, I will have my morning few cups of black natural coffee and get the same benefits of caffeine for my higher metabolism with all the antioxidants and flavonoids in it. Nobody would ever make me swallow a caffeine pill.
Do you eat weight loss pills? What’s wrong with you! Stop! Get a coffee instead! Please! Please! Please!
