Six pack abs is a beautiful thing many of us want. Many of us also claim that they already did everything for their six pack abs. And it’s just not working. Everything? Really? Are you one of them? Well, if you are, you might have a little problem with your ego. Maybe, you think you know it all and do everything right. Don’t worry, it is quite common these days.
Ego is six pack abs killer
I train and used to train fair amount of very successful people. They come and go. They get excited in the beginning and then get bored. They stick to it or quit. That’s all OK. We are human beings after all. But one pervert thing really bothers me on my profession. And it is this: my client after working out with me and listening me endlessly yapping about the six pack abs diet and what they should and shouldn’t for months, tells me this: Milan, I already do everything you say, but I am not getting leaner. My six pack abs is still not visible. Is this it? Can you tell me what else to do?
Maybe they should hire me for 24 hours to follow them everywhere with a tiny stick in my hand and when they reach for that irresistible morning croissant or a second and third glass of wine, I will slap them with that stick on their hand and make sure they don’t eat or drink it. I think that might work.
They obviously know what to do. And they obviously know that they are not honest with themselves and also with me, when they say, they already do everything.
Well, I have and had quite a few of them. The interesting thing is, that the more successful they usually are in their fields an professions, the less honest they are about their six pack abs. I don’t get it. They clearly had to work hard and be consistent and do things right achieving success in their fields. They really needed to be brutally honest with them selves there.
Being brutally honest with your six pack abs quest is the only way that leads to successful destination.
How about six pack? What’s so different on it? Why some people can’t be brutally honest about their own six pack abs the same way they are with other things in their life’s? Maybe you are one of them.
No, I am not really complaining here. I used to be a nice guy and usually go around and say something like: Let me reevaluate the plan Alexis, when my client complained about not getting any better. But now, I get straight into their face. I want them to succeed! I want them to achieve their goals. And the only way they can do it with their quest of achieving their own six pack abs is to be brutally honest with what they eat, how they move, what they do, intensity, what they drink, how long they sleep and so on.
The right six pack abs coach
If I had a trainer that wants to honestly lead me to achievement of my own six pack abs, I would pay him double if he told me, that I am not honest and that I pig out on the evenings, drink too much vine and don’t exercise as consistently as he told me straight to my face. That’s what good coaches do. I know, I had few in my athletic career. They are your great friends and they are brutally honest with you. It’s rear breed. They are hard to find.
We all had a person in in our life’s that sincerely wanted us to succeed. And he wouldn’t hesitate to give us a true feedback. Deep down, we all want it. We all need it. We all need to be brutally honest and somebody who is brutally honest with us if we want to succeed. So if you have a wimpy trainer that is trying to keep your business by telling you that this is not your fault, fire him. Deep down, that’s not really who you want to lead you to your success. But make sure, if you get the right one, you listen. And then you listen some more and shut up and be brutally honest with yourself.
Anyway, if you ever decide to train with me or follow my feedback on this site to you about your six ack abs, be ready for a rough ride. But also, be ready to succeed!
