Six pack abs achievement is a complex long term goal. It’s not easy to achieve it. But it is not complicated either. 80/20 rule applies to six pack abs as well as to most of worthwhile goals out there.
The Pareto principle also known as 80/20 rule states that roughly 80% of the effects comes from 20% of the causes. In six pack abs achievement quest, you could say that 80% of your six pack abs success comes from 20% of six pack abs specific efforts. And as a guy who has six pack abs, I can confirm that. The question is, what 20% six pack abs efforts to focus on? Which efforts have the most impact on your six pack abs achievement?
The most important six pack abs 20% efforts
Are you overwhelmed with all the things you need to do in order to achieve your own six pack abs, so you don’t know where to start? Don’t worry, you are not alone. A six pack abs goal is a very complex long term goal to achieve. But you can really keep it quite simple in day to day basis.
This is what you should do:
Dedicate 20 minutes per day to some kind of movement and do whatever you want to do as long as it is moving vigorously. this is the first 10% of your effort that is responsible for 40% of your six pack abs success.
At the same time, cut sugar and white flour from your diet and that means not eating anything that is processed. This is another 10% of your effort that leads to another 40% of your six pack abs success.
So now you have 10% effort ( 20 minutes of moving vigorously every day) + 10% effort ( cutting processed crap, sugar and flour from your diet) = 40% + 40% and that is 80% six pack abs success. And honestly, that’s all you need to know to achieve your own six pack abs. You don’t have to worry about anything else. This is going to make the biggest difference on your goal to six pack abs.
Act now
Today, get out, close the door an start moving, chasing cats or birds or doing jumping jacks on buss stop or crawling on the nearby park. Just make sure little children are not around because some scared mother might call police and they can arrest you. Whatever. Move, move, move. Weird moves are completely fine. As long as you are not attacking anybody and you are moving vigorously, breathing heavily.
Dance in front of the mirror, go for a fast walk, have wild sex, run, walk up and down the stairs, circle around your house while shadow boxing, work in your garden, dig the hole and burry the hole, or shovel snow for 20 minutes from your driveway to neighbors driveway and back.
If you are just starting and you don’t have a gym membership or the best running shoes, or a nice wind jacket, don’t let that stop you to start today. Going out barefoot and finishing your walk is way better that staying home because you don’t have right shoes for it.
Do whatever you can now, today, with whatever you have and know. Moving is important for your six pack abs, not a nice pants from yoga shop.
Over time you will get all these stuff anyway. It could be a week from now or a month from now, but you will be already well on your mission to your own six pack abs, better health and shape. Don’t wait, start! Starting is everything. Just make sure you finish. But don’t get stuck in work in your backyard as a workout forever. Progress. Improve over time.
And at the same time:
Throw all the processed stuff, sweetened and flour based into the garbage. And don’t eat this crap anymore. eat the whole stuff: fruits, vegetables, greens, beans, nuts, fresh meats, fish, tofu. And all natural things like that.
Reaching six pack abs can be very simple if you want to succeed. And in my opinion, it should be simple. Concentrate on the 20% of the most important described above and six pack abs is yours sooner or later. There is really no rush. Improve every day just a little bit. It doesn’t matter how long it takes. Keep it simple, stick with it and that’s how six pack abs happen.
