Andre is close to 6 soon and he is a proud owner of his own six pack abs.
Does he really care about having little six pack abs body?
Not at all!
He doesn’t care a little bit that he’s this amazingly fit and healthy young boy. He doesn’t even know he’s so fit.
Now you know if you have little kids that they will not do anything required to do in order to achieve six pack abs fit, lean, healthy body.
Andre wants to eat candy all the time!
Andre wants to sit on his but and watch cartoons all the time.
Andre doesn’t want to drink water! He wants the good stuff – juice, sprite, lemonade with lots of sugar in it.
Andre would much rather eat his gummy bears than eat a fresh pear or an apple.
Andre wants desert before dinner. Actually he just wants a desert and more desert every day as his dinner.
Andre wants to go everywhere with car. To the park, visit friends, everywhere.
You can’t blame him for any of these things.
Every single kid wants these “good stuff.”
I want them too!
You want them too!
Adults want them too!
Everyone wants them. They are easy, tasty, comfortable, soothing and very addictive.
You need six pack abs coach!
Kids do! Period.
Us adults, while not much different than kids need at least someone to be accountable to.
Let me be that accountability partner of yours.
Milan, ultimate six pack abs coach comes into a picture and leads his boy and YOU too to six pack abs.
Yes Andre still watches his cartoons, he still has a candy occasionally and drinks his little juice box what they give him in school.
Dam schools! They ruin everything for us real life six pack abs coaches 🙂
But that’s just very little here and there occasionally. 90% of time he’s guided in right six pack abs direction.
And you need that guidance too my fellow six pack abs achiever!
Smarter candy and sweats for six pack abs achievers.
No way!
You can’t let your kid live without eating any candy! That’s impossible!
Absolutely impossible!
Kids are the best in the world getting what they want. They’ll scream, kick walls, throw themselves on the concrete floor crying and yelling like crazy monkey to get what they want.
It’s scarry!
You have no chance!
But you can be smarter about it.
I installed the rule that candy is eaten only after main meal. And if not main healthy nutritious meal is finished – no candy.
So there is motivation for my son to finish. And he usually does. Greans, beans and grilled chicken disappears very fast.
Good! Candy time!
I am trying to be strategic about candy. Kids will eat better candies if you give it to them.
My choice is granola bars and trail mixes with some crackers, dried mangoes or occasional fresh fruit smoothie.
Granola bars and all kinds of power bars are pure crap in my world. But they can be a good candy treat for kids. They actually contain something good compare to butterfingers and twixs. And Andre loves them. He calls them candy bars. And he’s right. They are candy bars. Just a little bit better candy bars!
Smarter drinking for six pack abs achievers.
This one is hard! Kids like juices and sweat drinks. My son loves Gatorade. Gatorade is worst than coke. It has more sugar. It’s the true poison!
So what do I do?
Off course main drinking staple is water. But when soccer or tennis practice is on, Andre likes his juice or Gatorade. And I give it to him. But I use about a quarter of it punched with pure water. Suddenly that poisonous drink is not that bad anymore. And he can’t really see a difference.
Smarter relaxing – sitting on our asses for six pack abs achievers.
Andre watches his cartoons. Off course he does! He loves them. But he watches them only in the evening for 30- 45 minutes after dinner and 3 rounds of 10 push ups and 10 pull ups. Yes he can already do full all the way down push ups and all the way up pull ups.
And he loves doing them! Why? Because he knows that the cartoons are comming. It’s like Maslow’s dogs knowing when the light goes on, the food is coming.
Would Andre be doing his push ups and pull ups happily without some kind of reward? No way!
Also another condition for watching cartoons for him is generally overall physically active day.
This is a kind of trick you can apply to yourself too my fellow six pack abs achiever. Reward yourself with something after doing something hard and necessary.
I always do 3 sets of pull ups before lunch or dinner. Not only the meal tastes better, the muscle fibers are hungrier for calories. And all that helps your overall leanness, sugar and energy exchange.
You can apply the same principle spending time on computer and working on computer. Every hour in front of the screen = 20 push ups, 10 pull ups, 20 squat jumps. I do that too all the time.
Reward at the end of the day = mango banana smoothie.
I know that Andre will eventually figure out my six pack abs tricks and will start rebelling. When that happens, like the rest of us, he will have to realize that in order to be healthy and fit and strong and six pack abs lean, he has to stay disciplined and keep his own tricks going.
We all need to trick ourselves sometimes, exactly like we trick our kids. Because we want only the best for our kids. So treat yourself like you’d treat your kids in your six pack abs fitness and health pursuit.
