I got this the other day. A guy I know told me, that he is been fallowing my advice how to get a six pack abs exactly for two years now.
He is about 220 lb, kind of short and fallowing my advice for 2 years exactly to the detail.
What?
I know, that achieving a six-pack abs is pretty hard work. But telling me this confidently, straight to my eyes makes me run away from this guy and pray I will never hear about him.
If this guy wasn’t lying to me, than something else must be wrong.
There are some people, that actually convince themselves that they are doing everything right.
That’s why you can’t really say they are lying. They are, lets say such a strong personalities with such a high self esteem, that they convince themselves, that they do everything right.
But this could be a pretty lousy state to be in. Because if you honestly don’t look at yourself and evaluate your behaviors and actions brutally honestly, you’ll never improve.
Because I already do that and you’ll not be telling me I don’t. Who do you think you are?
I could have given him few questions, but than I realized, I wouldn’t get anywhere. Because of course he is doing already everything right.
How about you?
Can you honestly see what you are doing wrong? Can you accept, that you failed to fallow certain advice? Can you admit that, what you ate today was garbage?
Well, If you can, you are on the right track to improvement.
