If you have seen Madonna recently, you noticed how very skinny she is.
I think, she is too skinny and she would look much better with little extra meat on herself.
But, Madonna knows exactly what she’s doing.
At her age of 52, she is super active, working out everyday for several hours. She is calling her gym a church, where she prays everyday for 2 hours – with strength, endurance and flexibility exercises.
She is creative and aggressive as ever before. She is dating young men. She looks great, she dances like a Olympic gymnast and she is a superstar with a huge amount of energy.
She is 52 and she is 25 at the same time.
What does Madonna know, lots of us don’t?
Madonna knows what many recent researches show: Calorie restriction leads to longevity, slow aging, great health and energy.
Many researches show, that starving rats lived 2-3 times longer as those who had plenty of food available. They were super healthy all their life’s, they rested less, moved more. I am convinced and certainly Madonna too, that this applies to humans as well.
Madonna practices her calorie restriction with pro biotic diet, which actually means just the normal diet, free of sugar, processed foods, and excess fat.
In an interview with CNN’s Larry King she described her typical dinner as fish, some kind of grains and some kind of cooked vegetable and salad.
I think her diet is more extreme than that. As everything what Madonna does.
I am sure, she gets everything she needs – vitamins, minerals, enough protein and other nutrients. But nothing, absolutely nothing extra.
And it works!
You will never see Madonna with a coke in her hand.
I will bet you a lot of money anytime, that Madonna haven’t have a Coke last 10 years. I wouldn’t be surprised, if she didn’t even know how the Coke testes anymore.
Calorie restriction works for Madonna. In fact that and a diligent, religious exercise will keep her performing, staying healthy, full of energy and creative for many many more years.
You too can apply what Madonna knows and applies on herself.
You will need a lot of discipline, but it is easily possible to copy her diet very closely. And this is not just a celebrity thing, that lots of people are using for excuse.
You don’t need expensive trainer to snatch that sprite out of your hand or to take away that piece of cake you wanted to have after dinner. I doubt, Madonna has somebody walking with her all the time and telling her what not to eat.
No, you don’t need Madonnas money or time or trainers.
What you really need is Madonnas discipline.
Hey, she has all the money and time in the world. She should be enjoying life, enjoying all different kinds of restaurants, going to clubs, trying all kinds of expensive drinks, watching movies all the time and having fun and eating popcorn and generally “enjoying life!”
But instead of that, her grocery bill is probably much lover than yours and mine, because the healthiest stuff out there is cheep and prepared by yourself. And even that preparation is pretty quick, so you don’t need a personal chef.
OK, Madonna maybe has a chef, but I doubt he or she is preparing some complicated meals for her and her family that take too much time.
Her chef is probably some buddy from the childhood, she just wants to keep around and put him on the payroll. You can easily prepare same kind and tasty meals, and probably even better than him.
Healthy meals are usually prepared very quickly and most of the time they are just eaten raw to preserve all the nutrients.
Alright, so now, when you don’t have any celebrity excuse to use, you can start.
Don’t eat anything, that tastes good because it is sweetened with sugar or processed and loaded with chemicals. Eat only the foods that come straight from the nature and not from the factory.
I know. That sounds brutal, but nothing worthwhile is easy.
And being healthy and staying young long time after fifty is worth deleting some lame ass foods from your diet like: soda, candy, processed foods, alcohol, and other.
Are you overweight? Would you like to loose few pounds, but you can’t?
You are not disciplined enough! Madonna is! That’s the only real difference between you and her.
Don’t look for a shortcut.
Regular intensive physical exercise and diet based on calorie restriction is the answer!
