This is going to be a short from healthy to invincible chapter, but not by any means less important. It is totally straight forward:
If you want to become invincible, you can’t drink anything sweetened with real sugar or any other sweeteners, honey included. And you can’t drink anything that says diet, or that is flavored too.
This is a sort of edition to the step 2 for becoming invincible, where you choose your carbohydrates you consume very carefully. Guess what? Most of the carbohydrate intake for people comes from sweetened drinks like fruit juices, sodas, energy drinks and others. That makes question – what do you drink, very important to your health.
So what are you left with?
The boring, but beautifully great for your body and health:
Plain water – you can squeeze a little bit of lemon to it or lime for little flavor
Plain mineral waters – it’s ok if they are carbonated
All kinds of unsweetened teas that you brew yourself – fruit, herbal, black, green
Coffee – unsweetened, some milk in it is ok
And that’s it!
Many people can’t even imagine drinking something that isn’t flavored or sweetened. They have been drinking something that is tasty for their entire life. And that’s why they are sick. But road to great health leads through drinking only the so called boring stuff mentioned above. Maybe it will seem like an impossible habit to break, but if you want to be healthy and invincible, you have to find a way to brake it. No taste is a great thing in this matter.
Exception – Wine
You can have a glass of wine daily if you wish to. But make it a one glass, not a whole bottle. Wine, especially red wine is low in sugar and contains some resveratrol, a substance believed to be the only chemical, that’s slowing aging. But, there is not any evidence, that this is actually truth. It’s just something for people to believe in, so they don’t feel that guilty, when they suck the whole bottle of wine with dinner. And besides a jar of peanut butter has more resveratrol in it than 10 bottles of the best red wine. So, keep your wine consumption under control.
In becoming invincible, what you drink is crucially important. If you fail to realize this and keep pouring sweetened and chemically flavored beverages to your body, you will eventually pay for it with a poor health.
