It’s human nature. Fear is here to stay. Fear is ingrained in all of us. Fear is a gift we were given to survive.
Exactly! Survive!
But everyone is now surviving. Is that all you want?
I don’t think so.
You want to thrive, grow and define your fears!
First do this my fellow six pack abs achiever and true life potential speaker:
Separate your fears
There are 2 kinds of fears.
First, there is a fear of harm and injury and loosing your life. It also applies to your family.
Now, there is an easy fix to this.
Don’t do anything stupid that puts you or your family in life teetering danger. That’s it. That’s a completely reasonable fear to have and your job is to listen to it!
Great, we have that one out of the way and I won’t come back to it anymore.
Fear of losing your comfort level
Now here is the second one.
This one is the funny one. It paralyzed and limits everybody in civilized world where the true danger doesn’t even exist.
You achieve certain level and you’re doing fine. You’re living your middle class life, paying off your mortgage, working in you “safe job” and you’re happy for a while.
Than you start feeling little restless. You’ve got it made but for some reason it doesn’t feel right! Right?
Exactly!
You’re living in the world where there is no real fear. All your fears are coming out of you protecting your comfortable zone. You’re protecting what you have. The material stuff. Your old habits.
While that’s reasonable to a point, nobody is going to take it away from you!
Are you going to live the rest of your life protecting something you can’t take with you anyway?
The result of this fear is that you hide and live mediocre existence.
And you’re not happy either!
You’re bored and scared!
What a terrible way to live!
Boredom actually equals serious unhappiness in my world. And it should in yours too.
Boredom and fear = unhappiness!
Remember that one forever!
Add a laziness to it and you’re in serious trouble!
Fear and progress
Fear is stopping you from your own progress, excitement, fun and serious growth.
Fear is simply stopping you to be seriously happy!
There is nothing to be afraid of!
I, you and everyone else. We are already naked. We are here for very short time on this little planet.
And our job is to live up to our true potential.
And you do that by beating your little fears!
Yes they are little! Try to name one. Oh that one? That’s a little fear you can conquer!
Go the the fears you have today!
